Analytics opt-out

Excludes this browser from PostHog. Not anonymised, not cookieless — PostHog is never loaded, so no PostHog request leaves the page and there is nothing to count. One click covers carrick.tools, docs.carrick.tools and app.carrick.tools. It does not cover Crisp chat or Google Fonts, which are separate third parties and still load.

Stored as the carrick_no_analytics cookie on .carrick.tools, which is why it reaches all three sites. It is set by the server, because Safari caps cookies written by JavaScript to seven days and the exclusion would lapse without warning. Browsers cap cookie lifetime at around 400 days regardless, so re-apply it roughly once a year. Clearing site data resets it, and it applies to this browser only, so repeat on each browser and device you use.
